Dealers Accused of Undercutting Livoltek Prices, Prompting Calls for Company Action

Concerns have emerged in the local solar energy market after reports surfaced that several dealers are allegedly selling Livoltek inverters and batteries below the official prices set by the company.

According to information obtained by industry sources, some prominent Punjab Dealers have been involved in offering Livoltek products at rates significantly lower than those outlined in the company’s official Price Circular dated October 22, 2025.

For example, a 10kW on-grid inverter was reportedly sold at PKR 128,000, while the official dealer price without STRN stands at PKR 134,000. Similarly, Livoltek batteries, which carry an official wholesale price of PKR 185,000, have allegedly been sold in the market for as low as PKR 171,000.

Industry stakeholders argue that such practices are creating serious disruptions for other authorized dealers who are attempting to operate within the company’s pricing framework. The undercutting not only destabilizes the market but also undermines the company’s efforts to maintain a level playing field across regions.

Observers have urged Livoltek management to take stern action against the dealers involved, stressing that notices should be issued to those violating the official pricing policy. They argue that strict enforcement of the Price Circular is essential to protect the interests of compliant dealers and to ensure long-term market stability.

“Price discipline is critical in a competitive industry like solar energy,” one market analyst noted. “If unchecked, such practices can erode trust, damage brand value, and create unfair advantages for a few at the expense of the wider dealer network.”

The call for action highlights the growing tension between Livoltek’s official pricing strategy and the realities of market competition. Industry insiders now await the company’s response, with many emphasizing that decisive steps are necessary to restore confidence and fairness in the distribution chain.
